NHA Staff and Volunteers have been getting to know Piper again since she became a "return adoption" last month, and basically, just like many of us remember... she is one of those dogs that you pretty much fall in love with at hello. Also... Anyone out there reading this... Please don't let the fact that she is mixed with "German Shephard" intimidate you in any way. PIPER is a total mush who adores her stuffed toy animal friends as much as her people friends of all ages!
When she's not requesting a belly rub, she leaning up to you as close as possible, looking at you with angelic eyes, just waiting for your love and affection. She truly is the most loving dog ever. She just needs to be given a chance.
Piper is almost three years old and weighs 63 pounds. She's a snuggly dog who loves lap time with her humans. Giving hugs and slobbery kisses too are a few of her favorite things. She knows sit, is housebroken, and trust us; she will fill your heart with oh-so-much love! Piper is such a beautiful doggo who is looking for a forever home where she will put a smile on your face 24/7. She wants all your love. In return, she'll give you all of hers. Also, like all pets at NHA on NHA's adoption floor, Piper is spayed. She is up to date on shots and microchipped.
She sounds great, doesn't she? She's been here longer than we anticipated since she does fall under the "harder to adopt" category. Even though she love people of all ages... Other house pets? Not so much. Piper needs to be your one and only. We also highly recommend a home with a fenced backyard.
This happy girl who is so easy to love, but harder to get adopted because of her size, breed, and forever home restrictions. She deserves a Forever Home like all the pets do. Don't you agree?
