Are you looking for the perfect napping and cuddle companion? Meet Sara Lee! Sara Lee is a 2-year-old, 40-pound, pit bull terrier mix, currently looking for her furever home. After giving birth to 9 beautiful puppies here at Nashville Humane, Sara Lee is looking for a loving home where she can be a puppy herself! She would love to cuddle up next to you for a nap, and she will roll over for a belly rub and some chin scratches! Sara Lee loves treats! She is not picky at all with what she eats, but she would do anything for a spoonful of peanut butter. There is no doubt that Sara Lee would make a wonderful family dog as she is friendly with fur babies and human babies alike! If you already have a dog at home, Sara Lee would love to meet them here at the NHA to ensure a love match! Whether it be playing in a fenced-in backyard or cuddling on the couch, she just wants to be around her people. So, if you are looking for a sweet and cuddly family dog, come meet Sara Lee! And Bonus? Several of her pups are here at NHA too - Come meet the whole family! Also, Sara Lee is Heartworm Positive. It's a disease that's easy to control, but timely to cure. Dogs get this disease from mosquito bites. Prevention is easy to get from your vet. Please know that NHA will care for Sara Lee's Heartworm treatment at no cost to her future adopters. (Our Vet Services Team will go over a treatment schedule at her time of adoption)
