Donkey is back at NHA after being in a foster home for a couple of weeks. All of us at NHA LOVE how Miranda Lambert's MuttNation #LoveHarder campaign focuses on harder to adopt dogs, the seniors, the black dogs, and the Pitbull mixes like Donkey. Our Paws are crossed that this feature will help Donkey find the forever home he dreams of. Just look at these pictures. Aren't you in love already? Donkey is a year old and weighs 50 pounds. He has really (really good) inside potty manners and would do best as an only pet in his new home.

Donkey is the cuddliest puppy on the block. If he could be described in a song it would be 'Close To You' by the Carpenters! He loves to be outside. Fetch is a multi-ball game since he will not bring it back, and he loves to try and 'catch' flying bugs. When he gets the zoomies he still takes a tumble sometimes, but always keeps going. He is very food motivated and will sit for a treat and loves a peanut butter lick mat. Donkey has yet to meet a human stranger he did not love! Donkey is a sweet pup that is looking for his forever family to shower with kisses and be your number one fan!

When visiting us for adoptions, please arrive by 4pm to give yourself more than enough time to visit, fall in love, and ADOPT!
